Sus tiras presentaban una gran influencia del movimiento psicod\u00e9lico y en sus tramas abordaban la sexualidad, las drogas y situaciones grotescas y asquerosas. Fueron parte del movimiento contracultural de aquella \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/escafandrauabc.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/09\/crumb.jpg?w=884\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8821\" \/><figcaption>Portada de la historieta <em>Fritz the cat<\/em> de Robert Crumb.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Artistas posteriores han retomado este estilo y hasta la fecha existe toda una corriente de <em>comix<\/em> que sigue esta tradici\u00f3n, incluyendo a Daniel Clowes, autor de la historieta <em>Ghost World<\/em>. Podr\u00edamos incluir aqu\u00ed tambi\u00e9n a los Garbage Pail Kids, una serie de tarjetas coleccionables que eran  parodia de los Cabbage Patch Kids, mu\u00f1ecos sumamente populares durante los a\u00f1os ochenta y noventa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Otro de los seguidores de esta corriente es el ya mencionado Ed\u00e9n D., un dibujante de 31 a\u00f1os egresado de la carrera de Ciencias de la Comunicaci\u00f3n de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Baja California. Creo que las cualidades de este tipo de c\u00f3mics surgen del cuestionar los valores tradicionales de la sociedad.
